New Minerals Found Throughout The Galaxy
November, 2178
The hazardous precautions have been dropped. New jobs are on the rise. Economy is rising in those planetary systems with greater impact of the meteor shower. Scoth obtained the most of the impact, General Sarius planning to expand his arsenal even further by 2180. Some reports have detailed many workers dying when handling the chemicals, where others have claimed the new resource will replace all other fossil fuels. The galaxy have agreed upon the chemical being further known as Manticore. |
Galaxy Takes Evasive Action During Unexpected Meteor Shower
October, 2178
Admiral Wilson and his alliance with Admiral Amador of the Exodus Guard both set out an immediate alert on a galactic scale for the first time in over a millennium. Research is to be conducted on the fallen debris to determine the hazard level of the chemical spread within the crater boundaries. "Now that the shower has ended, precautions must still be advised across the galaxy," explained Wilson. "Every planetary system and their counsels will take this precaution differently," countered Amador. "Not everyone will put a hazard level on this. I presume the Scavengers are going to try and thrive off of this event." |
Steel Knights Complete New Dreadnought 78
September, 2178
One year ago, development commenced on this dreadnought. General Sarius of the Steel Knights received galactically complains about his ever-growing army. "We build for the protection of Scoth" explained Sairus, "and the evolution of primal development will lead us to greater discoveries." This new dreadnought, The Viking, has been granted ownership under the command of Captain Aumin, who has served under Admiral Sarius for over a decade. "Only Aumin is capable of withholding a cannon of that magnitude in my army," continued Sarius. "Overcharge may send an entire planet back to the stone age." |
Scavengers Still A Threat To Nearby Colonies
August, 2178
The Scavengers, who originated on Laterus V, have been rebelling against their council for over a year. Due to the near-uninhabitable conditions of Laterus V, more supplies are needed to occupy the area. Landscapes require more costly contributions by workers, leading to more hardened workforces. The Scavengers are known to attack nearby ships and stations for scrap, leading to the cut-off for trade routs, further undermining the refurbishment of Laterus V. Civilians are advised to keep their distance from orbital reach until further notice by the GDA. |
